Get Your Free EstimateCrofton is one of those places where "junk removal" means five different jobs depending on which street you're on. A three-level townhouse in Crofton Meadows off Mount Airy Court empties out very differently than a golf-course colonial in Walden, and a rear-load garage over in Crofton Mews is a different animal again. We've worked all of it — the 1970s townhome courts strung along Crofton Parkway, the bigger homes backing up to Crofton Country Club and the Walden fairways, and the newer builds out toward Gambrills and Crofton Valley. MD Junk Pros is a local crew with 200+ five-star reviews, and we treat a full-house cleanout in Crofton the same way we treat a single mattress: one firm price up front, and we do the lifting.
We handle furniture and appliance removal, mattress and box-spring hauling, full-house and estate cleanouts, garage, basement and attic clear-outs, rental and tenant turnovers, construction debris and light demolition — anywhere in Crofton, 21114, and the surrounding Anne Arundel communities from Odenton down to Davidsonville. If it needs to come out and go away, that's the job.
From a single-item pickup to a whole-house clear-out, here's what we take on most across Crofton:
Every photo below is from an actual Crofton job. No stock images, no other company's work.

The Crofton Meadows townhomes off Mount Airy Court are 1970s three-level colonials — a walk-out basement at the bottom, bedrooms up top, and two assigned parking spaces at the curb out front. That layout is the whole story on a cleanout like this: there's no backing a trailer up to the door, so everything comes down the stairs and across the court to the truck. We cleared this one top to bottom — furniture, a portable AC unit, black shelving, boxes, a mattress, laundry baskets, the lot — and staged the trailer right at the two-space pad so the neighbors kept their spots. Crofton Meadows Elementary is around the corner and Crofton Parkway loops the whole community, so we kept the curb clean and were loaded and gone well before anyone came home.

This was a rental turnover in Walden, the golf-course community off Kemper Road near Walden Country Club and its 18-hole course. The last tenant left in a hurry — a disassembled crib, wire closet shelving, a floor lamp, an old cabinet and a stack of bagged household trash spread across the room. Turnovers are all about speed: the owner needed it broom-swept and re-rentable, not sorted for a week. We pulled everything, swept it down and handed back an empty room ready for listing photos. Walden sits minutes from Waugh Chapel Towne Centre with quick access to Route 3, Route 424 and Route 50, so we get in and out between showings without holding up the re-list.

A townhome garage on the Crofton Mews side, just off Route 3 near Johns Hopkins Road — packed to the point the car barely fit inside. We pulled a box spring, a weight bench, a side table, an old office cabinet and a pile of artificial hedges and greenery out to the apron, loaded it up, and gave them the garage back with the car parked inside and the floor swept. Crofton Mews has its community pond and walking trails right there and the rear-load garages share a tight driveway apron, so we worked clean and never blocked the neighbors while we loaded.
Every job starts at $175, and the number moves on three things: how much there is, how hard it is to reach, and how heavy it is. Crofton makes access the interesting one. In the townhome courts — Crofton Meadows, Crofton Mews, the Nantucket and Lake Louise side — the trailer can't reach the door, so a walk-out basement or a second-floor bedroom means a long carry across the court, and that carry is a real part of the price. In the bigger Walden and Crofton Valley homes, volume takes over: full-house and estate loads fill a trailer fast. Weight is the third lever — mattresses, appliances, that portable AC and dense furniture cost more to tip than a room full of boxes, no matter how easy the driveway is. We weigh all three before we quote. You get one firm price before we touch anything, and it does not change.
Crofton is Anne Arundel County, so your load doesn't go wherever's closest — it goes where the county says it goes. General household junk and bulk from a Crofton cleanout runs to the Millersville Recycling & Transfer Station on Burns Crossing Road, a short haul up Route 3 and I-97. Construction and demolition debris — deck boards, fencing, drywall, concrete off a light demo — is a separate stream and gets weighed in at Laney Recycling in Laurel, priced by the ton. Anything still usable — a solid dresser, working shelving, furniture with life left in it — we try to divert to donation before it ever sees a landfill.
The one thing we can't put on the truck is household hazardous waste. Liquid paint, motor oil, gasoline and propane, pool and lawn chemicals, pesticides and old automotive fluids all get turned away from a commercial truck at the transfer station, so they stay with you — Anne Arundel County runs household hazardous waste drop-off days for exactly that. If you've got a Crofton garage full of half-used paint cans and mystery jugs, tell us up front and we'll tell you what rides along and what you'll want to run to the county yourself.
